6.3.5.3.2 Methods

The subject of an operational policy a nomadic system by default. In case of metapolicies, the subject is a component of the management system, for example the Metapolicy Service Mobile Agent. The subject domain is no longer only the home domain of the nomadic system, but can also be the domain of the management system or its agents. The method push is changed to achieve this. Also, the different event channels are handled in this method.

In addition to this, it sends, receives, and checks the Policy_enforcement event as shown in figure .

All this functionality was added to the push method because it was done so in the NoCScontrol system. The method was already very large and complex. A good idea would be to separate the functionality other than for communication out of it.
