Research interests
My research focuses mostly on quantum computing, in particular different aspects of quantum circuit compilation. Much of this work is based on ZX-calculus, a diagrammatic language for quantum systems. Other research interests in this area include quantum algorithms and their complexity, quantum simulation and measurement based quantum computing.
Teaching assistance
Bachelor and Master theses
Students with an idea for a Bachelor or Master thesis related to quantum computing are always welcome to contact me. You may also take a look at the open proposals of the MNM-Team.
